What happens after you say yes.

Here is every step from the moment you say yes to the day your site is live, and what each one costs. It's the same as the one-page agreement you'll sign, just in plain words.

The seven steps

  1. About 2 minutes

    Sign the agreement

    I email you a one-page agreement with your package, price and any add-ons filled in. Read it, type your name and click Sign. You get a copy right away.

  2. This starts the work

    Pay the first half

    The signing page takes you straight to the invoice for your 50% deposit: $262.50 for a Starter site or $425 for a Growth site, plus half of any add-ons. Pay by card, bank transfer or check, with no card fees on top. The deposit is non-refundable once I've started.

  3. Phone photos are fine

    Send your photos and details

    Reply with 5 to 10 photos, your services, your hours and your logo if you have one. If you're a home improvement contractor, include your HIC registration number so it can go on your site.

  4. 4 days or less

    See your first draft

    Within 4 days of getting your deposit and your materials, I send you a link to your first draft. If the materials take a little longer, the date moves by the same amount.

  5. 3 rounds included

    Ask for changes

    Tell me what to change, in one list. Three rounds of changes are included. If you want more than that, or something outside what we agreed, I tell you the price before I do it.

  6. Launch day

    Approve it, pay the second half, go live

    When you're happy, you approve the final version and I send the invoice for the other half. Once it's paid, your site goes live on your own web address. You buy the address in your own account, and I help you connect it. Once the final payment clears, the site's content and the address are yours.

  7. Optional

    Care plan, if you want it

    $50 a month, billed in advance, month to month. It covers hosting, security, backups and small text and photo updates. Cancel with 30 days' notice, and I'll give you your site files and help you move them.

Good to know

What if I'm slow sending photos?
That's fine. The draft date moves by the same amount, and you can send what you have first.
What if a payment is late?
If an invoice is more than 7 days past due, work pauses (along with any care plan) until it's paid, then picks right back up.
Can you promise more customers or a top spot on Google?
No one honestly can. I build a clear, fast site that's easy for your customers to use, but I can't guarantee rankings, traffic or sales.
Will you show my site to other people?
I may show the finished site as an example of my work. If you'd rather I didn't, just tell me in writing.
